Token Payments

Token amounts are adjusted against the full session cost. They are not standalone charges.

Understanding Token Payments

When you book a session, you pay a token amount to confirm your booking. Here is what you need to know:

  • The token is a confirmation deposit fully credited against the total cost of your session.
  • It reserves your slot and allows us to begin preparing your personalized blueprint.
  • You will not be charged the token in addition to the session fee — it is part of your total.
  • The remaining balance will be discussed and collected before or at the time of your consultation.

Think of the token as a booking deposit — it confirms your place in our schedule and ensures we dedicate time to preparing your personal reading.

When You Are Eligible for a Refund

  • We cannot fulfil your session: Full refund of your token payment. No questions asked.
  • Duplicate payment: If charged twice due to a technical error, the duplicate amount is refunded in full.
  • Cancellation 48+ hours before session: Token refunded minus applicable payment gateway fees (typically 2–3%).
  • Technical payment failure resulting in a charge: Full refund upon confirmation after investigation.

Refunds are always returned to the original payment method used at the time of booking.

When Refunds Are Not Issued

  • After your reading has been delivered: Service has been rendered — payment is non-refundable.
  • After your 1:1 session has been conducted: Whether in full or in part, no refund is issued.
  • Change of mind after delivery: Disagreement with insights does not constitute grounds for a refund.
  • Cancellation within 48 hours of session: Preparation time has already been committed.
  • No-show: Token is forfeited if you do not attend without prior notice.
  • Partial use of service: No partial refund is issued if you disengage mid-session.

Cancellation Policy

More than 48 hours before session Token refunded minus payment gateway fee (2–3%). Contact us via email or WhatsApp to initiate.
Between 24 and 48 hours before session Assessed case-by-case. No guarantee of refund, but a reschedule credit may be offered at our discretion.
Less than 24 hours before session No refund issued. You may request a reschedule subject to availability.
After reading has been delivered No refund issued. The service has been fully rendered.

To cancel, contact us with your name, booking reference, and reason for cancellation.

Rescheduling a Session

  • Requests made more than 24 hours before your session can typically be accommodated without penalty.
  • Requests made within 24 hours are handled case-by-case and cannot be guaranteed.
  • Each booking is permitted one free reschedule. Subsequent requests may require a rebooking fee.
  • Rescheduling is not available after your reading has been delivered or session has commenced.

How to Request a Refund

Refund Processing Time

  • UPI payments: Typically 1–3 business days
  • Debit / credit card: Typically 5–7 business days
  • Net banking: Typically 3–5 business days
  • Wallets (Paytm, PhonePe, etc.): Typically 1–3 business days

If your refund has not appeared after 10 business days, contact us with your payment reference ID.

Refunds are always returned to the original payment method. We cannot issue refunds to a different account or card than the one used originally.

Payment Disputes

Please contact us directly before initiating any chargeback. Most issues can be resolved quickly through direct communication.

  • We will respond to any chargeback with full evidence of service delivery and communication records.
  • Unjustified chargebacks may result in your account being flagged and future bookings being declined.
  • We will cooperate fully with Razorpay and the relevant financial institution in any investigation.

Changes to This Policy

TheDestinyDCode reserves the right to update this policy at any time. Changes are effective immediately upon posting. For bookings already made, the policy in effect at the time of your booking applies.
